The 24 Hour Plays: Old Vic New Voices is a showcase of the most exciting emerging talent in the business; the next generation of theatre-makers who can provoke, inspire and innovate. In just 24 hours, six original works are created from absolutely nothing by 38 actors, writers, directors and producers and performed on the historic Old Vic stage.

This riveting event has been wowing audiences for the last six years and has launched over 250 careers; securing agents, West End contracts, TV roles and commissions.

Past participants of The 24 Hour Plays: Old Vic New Voices have included:
Playwrights: Mike Bartlett (Chariots of Fire, Gielgud Theatre), Lucy Kirkwood (NSFW, Royal Court), Nick Payne (Electra, Gate Theatre) and Morgan Lloyd Malcolm (Belongings, Hampstead Theatre / West End, Aladdin, Lyric Hammersmith).

Actors: Iris Roberts (The Duchess of Malfi, The Old Vic) Charlotte Mills (Jerusalem, West End & Broadway), Nick Blakeley (Sunshine Boys, Savoy Theatre), Gethin Anthony (Game of Thrones, HBO), and Charity Wakefield (Mockingbird Lane, NBC).
